Sattuipa sopivasti! Huomasin juuri saman julkaisun, kun etsin tietoja kantasuomen kontakteista balttilaisiin ja slaavilaisiin kieliin. Julkaisu sisältää muun muassa Petri Kallion tuotoksen "The Proto-Balto-Slavic Loanword Stratum in the Uralic Languages" ja Abel Warriesin tuotoksen "An investigation of Tocharian loanwords in Samoyed ".

We may conclude that, even under the most optimistic interpretation, only a handful of individual Germanic loanwords can be regarded as having diffused eastward from the Baltic Sea area into Mordvin, Mari, and/or Permic. From a more critical perspective, the etymological evidence is so sparse and uncertain that it is open to doubt whether any such borrowings exist at all.
