There may in fact be multiple layers of Siberian gene flow into northeastern Europe after the initial ANE gene flow, as our analyses reported in SI 12 show that some Mordovians, Russians and Chuvash have Siberian-related admixture that is significantly more recent than that in Finns(SI12).
...
Finally, we used ALDER to investigate whether a linkage disequilibrium signal of recent admixture exists in Northeastern Europe using the Han as a reference and found a significant (Z>3) curve for three populations (for Finnish, Z=1.27, while we could not use this method on asingle Saami individual).
East Eurasian admixture (%) Time
Lower bound (%) std. error Generations std. error
Chuvash 11.7 1.7 62.5 11.0
Mordovian 6.7 1.3 69.8 16.9
Russian 5.7 0.4 52.3 5.8
Toisaalta, tutkimus toteaa näin (Extended Data Figure 7: Evidence for Siberian gene flow into far northeastern Europe.): "Some northeastern European populations (Chuvash, Finnish, Russian, Mordovian, Saami) share more alleles with Han Chinese than with other Europeans who are arrayed in a cline from Stuttgart to Lithuanians/Estonians in a plot of f (Test, BedouinB; Han, Mbuti) against f 4 (Test, BedouinB; MA1, Mbuti)."
Jos oikein ymmärsin, tutkimuksen eri kohdissa näitä ryhmiä yhdistävä taustaryhmä on Han, nimenomaan Kauko-Itään liittyvän geenipoolin vuoksi. Tämä kaukainen vaikutusaalto on mesoliittista kivikautta nuorempi:
"K=11 reveals a Siberian component, which is maximized in the Nganasan. Siberians previously
showed mixed membership in the Native American and East Asian components, consistent with the
idea that present-day Siberians have been formed by admixture with East Asians. The near absence of
the Siberian component in ancient hunter-gatherers contrasts with its presence at low levels in
present-day Northeastern Europeans, consistent with more recent Siberian influences in that part of
Europe. A Chipewyan-maximized North American component also appears; this re-appears at K=13
and persists thereafter."
En kuitenkaan ymmärrä Z-käyrän merkitystä, tarkoittavatko luvut sitä että esim. mordvalaisten Han-viritteinen geenilisä ajoittuu jonnekin 500-luvun vaiheille?
I-haplo näyttää asuneen Skandinaviassa jo mesoliittisella kivikaudella:
"Our finding that Loschbour and all four Motala males whose haplogroups we could determine belong
to Y-haplogroup I is not entirely unexpected, as this clade of the human Y-chromosome phylogeny is
found almost exclusively in Europe, with much rarer occurrences elsewhere."
