Who are these nations from Anatolia?

28 Elo 2011 18:55

I have received a message from a great Friend of the Finnish history living in London and he is a specialist of the ancient boats used by our ancestors using mainly waterways. He has been invited to Finland a couple of years ago as a specialist to a historical seminary. His question needs a lot of time and I have been interested of them during many years. It seems that we can (maybe) find part of them in the Nordic Countries as well. He will register later here as member of this forum.

His most interesting question from Anatolia is as follows:
Who are the Phrygians, Lycians, Lydians, Cilicians and Thracians?
My personal comment:
If we cannot TOGETHER resolve this, no one on Earth can do it.
I suppose by earlier experience (Mitanni, Hittites) that Cinnoglu has a lot of genetic info for this (this info especially to Sigfrid).
I have a feeling that many of them are living among us as a 100% Finn.

I suppose we have a lot specialists of the I1a-Thracians(?) among the Nordic People and especially among the Finns.
Maybe we can help a great friend of the Finno-Ugric people living in UK or GB?
So far I have nothing except the Lydians but absolutely nothing about their background.

Lydians from Aunus have nothing to do with Lydians from Anatolia. The name of the former is of Russian origin and only similar by chance.

I asked about it (Lydians) many and many years ago with the same answer.

Jaska, MANY(=more than one) foreigners have told that it is impossible to register in as a foreigner. The only problem is that they don't know Finnish
I have personally seen the problems trying with the computer of my son. I was helping him a lot in Finnish but no result. Can you do something as soon as possible?

It must be investigated and it will take many days or even weeks done alone (YHRD: 20 searches/day). The strongest R1a1 of Anatolian Lydia is at the same time very strong in Finland (14 matches). Because Cinnioglu has not used DYS385 a&b, that R1a1-investigation must be done once again with more markers.
The strong R1a1 in Finland and Turkey refers at the same time strongly to the Scythians. No "official" results yet because searches made without DYS385.
