Allentoft 2023: Postglacial Western Eurasia
Allentoft, M.E., Sikora, M., Refoyo-Martinez, A. et al. (2023, preprint).
Population Genomics of Postglacial Western Eurasia.

Tutkimuksen uusi versio oli ilmestynyt Biorxiviin vielä ennen joulua. Siinä on uutta tietoa ainakin jamnojen ja okunevolaisten perimästä.
”Middle Don HGs, who already carried ancestry related to Caucasus HGs [...], serve as a hitherto unknown proximal source for the majority ancestry contribution into Yamnaya-related genomes. [...] we demonstrate that the steppe ancestry composition (Steppe_5000BP_4300BP) can be modelled as a mixture of ~65% ancestry related to herein reported HG genomes from the Middle Don River region (MiddleDon_7500BP) and ~35% ancestry related to HGs from Caucasus (Caucasus_13000BP_10000BP)[.]”
”Genomes reported here also shed light on the genetic origins of the Early Bronze Age Okunevo Culture in the Minusinsk Basin in Southern Siberia. In contrast to previous results, we find no evidence for Lake Baikal HG-related ancestry in the Okunevo when using our newly reported Siberian forest steppe HG genomes jointly with Lake Baikal LNBA genomes as putative proximate sources. Instead, we found that they originate from admixture of a forest steppe HG source [...] and steppe-related ancestry[.]”
